In such cases you can use this plugin to replace old files with new ones. OverWrite It makes a filename search in `wp-content\uploads` folder recursively and replaces first matching file with the uploading one. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’ 2. Search for ‘Overwrite It’ 3. Activate Overwrite It from your Plugins page. #### From WordPress.org 1. Download Overwrite It. 2. Upload the ‘overwrite-it’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…) 3.
