Instalación

Copy the acf-field-date-selector folder into your wp-content/plugins folder
Activate the Advanced Custom Fields: Date Selector Field plugin via the plugins admin page
Create a new field via ACF and select Date Selector Field type under the jQuery section

This was the perfect starting point for me to implement into a project. Saved a lot of time. For my clients use case we wanted to record dates of birth but the date picker calendar was confusing for users, and fiddly on mobile. This is a much cleaner solution.
