DiskWise – Disk Analyzer shows you exactly where your disk space is going. It scans your WordPress installation and lists the size of every folder and file, so you can quickly find what is taking up room.
Features:
- See the size of each folder and file, sorted largest first.
- Click any folder to drill down into it.
- A “% of folder” bar to spot the biggest items at a glance.
- Progressive scanning — folder sizes are computed in the background so the page stays responsive.
- Results are cached for one hour; one click clears the cache and rescans.
- Shows total disk free and disk total.
The screen lives under the Tools menu. Only administrators (manage_options) can use it.

Instalación
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, or install it from Plugins > Add New. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
- Open “DiskWise – Disk Analyzer” under the Tools menu.

Who can see this screen?

Only users with the manage_options capability (administrators).

Does it delete or change any files?

No. It only reads file and folder sizes. It never modifies, moves, or deletes anything.

Why is a folder size shown as “computing”?

Large folders are measured in the background so the page loads fast. The size appears once the scan finishes, then it is cached for an hour.
