Many thanks for this plugin, very simple to use.
It works fine with WordPres 5.8.2 and PHP 7.4.25.
Good year, I hope this plugin will continue and will be updated in the future.

This plugin works fine with Gutenberg but it lacks an important feature in my opinion. When we select a restrict category to a user, only this category is added to the user and none of his children. It would be interesting to have all the children inherit restriction of parent. And when we create a new children category it automatically add the parent restriction.
